Men come here to chill or find their fellatio soul-mate. Walking back towards the pool area, you’ll find a dark room. There’s techno music playing in the background but it’s not loud like a club or anything. The surfaces are dark but they accent this with bright blue or green lights. My locker number is 385! Does that mean there’s 385 men here today? I guess we’ll find out. I head up two flights of stairs until I hit the locker room. They buzz you in and I walk through the door. The line was out the door, which made me nervous. At one point we all decided to check out Der Boiler. Each hostel mate, unique in their own way, grew on me in different ways. Here, I met the most amazing group of guys. I highly recommend it to any gay men looking for friends and an amazing gay experience. I stayed at The Gay Hostel Berlin, my favorite hostel thus far. I’m back in Berlin this year and there are several places I neglected to check out last time.
